In my Public Relations Writing Class (COM 366) we were tasked with creating a New Release for the Grand opening of The Original Selfie Museum in Seattle, Washington as a final Assignment. Based on everything taught to me in the class I constructed a News Release that displayed relevancy for media to attend. Relevancy examples include the appearce of influencers like Charli D'Amelio as well as the introduction of an exclusive experience only available at the Seattle location. I used word to create this News Release

For the same class I also created a Media Advisory for the grand opening to remind the media of important information such as the date of the event and why the museum is unique compared to its other 9 locations. Dividing the information between what is important, when it is taking place, where is it located, and why the media should attend. It was a bit challenging as the information from the News Release needed to be condensed into small bullet points but focusing on the relevant information was key to making this advisory relevant.

For my Application for the MAIP Program I was tasked with writing an essay about my personal barriers and how I was able to overcome them. In this essay I looked back at my life and looked for key areas of my life that prevented me from succeed further as a student with a low GPA. With this essay I was accepted into the first round of the MAIP application which eventually led to myself becoming a MAIP 2023 Fellow
