The content located above were all created using Canva to promote events and speakers for the Dominguez Hills PRSSA Club Chapter. It was a creative challenge that ended being far more rewarding than I previously predicted as I got to learn and express my creativity that would engage students and market these events on social media.

As Social Media Director for my schools on campus PRSSA chapter I’m in charge of creating and uploading content for our social media pages. For this example I created a TikTok to remind students of our upcoming guest speaker as well as discussed a little about what her job title entails. Details include what tasks a person in this field does as well as what skills would be required to fulfill these tasks.

Another piece of content I created was a banner that was used to advertise our on campus club to students during the first week of the semester as well as on our social media. This banner was created using Canva and designed under the schools colors to attract attention to freshmen communication students who want to get involved in school affairs.
